I think the judges thought it was to early in the competition and they thought that maybe someone with a bigger potential like DANNY or ADAM would result in elimination so they would save them. However, i think if the judges were to go to the past right now they would DEFINITELY use the save on Alexis i mean since there was no "shocker elimination" that has occurred since then.

You seem to be a Lil Rounds fan. To make a comment like that about Alexis just after losing your girl in the competition, means a lot and I thank you for it. I'm sure it would mean a lot to Alexis too, seeing how they are both from Memphis. I'm sure those two will hook up and have a party once Lil is done making the media rounds (no pun intended). Lil wasn't my favorite contestant, but she held herself with great dignity and wasn't afraid to speak her mind to the judges. Hooray for that. She was also VERY classy in defeat. That had to be very hard for her. I wish the best for Lil Rounds and I thank you for your kind words about Alexis.

You're right. At the time I didn't think Alexis deserved the save, but she's been the most undeserved elimination this season. Unfortunately she was crying on the Wednesday and couldn't sing properly, which didn't help.
I wonder if it was too early to use the save when Alexis was eliminated. SHe had very good performances and although Jolene wasn't her best, it wasn't that bad.
I wonder how she would have grown if she had stayed. I hope her exposure brings her a lot of opportunities.
Alexis had some great moments. She say "I Never Loved A Man" amazing, it was then that I thought she'd go far in the competition. But she seemed to make bad song choices after that. It would have been nice to see her on tour but I was also a huge fan of Matt too. I'm hoping both of them will come out with CDs anyway because i'd buy them in a second!!
Matt only had two or three great performances; the rest of his performances were disasters. Alexis, however, was AMAZING, and I felt that the judges should've used the save on her! I thought it was completely unfair for them to just let her go like that.
