Somewhere down the line I would love to here her do "Cover of the Rolling Stone" by Dr Hook. PGize the lyrics a bit and I think this would be a great song for her to have some fun with, show a bit of the fun side, amuse the um, eh, heck out of younger fans and give a big smile to the older ones. 

Of course giving a Van Morrison classic a kick or two in the pants would also be great for her voice and style.

Ok...I've been listening to songs from the Lennon/McCartney songbook since that's the theme yet again next week.  So far, I have 4 songs I think suit Amanda:  "Back in the USSR", "Everybody has Something to Hide Except Me and my Monkey" (I know...weird sounding, but I listened to it and loved it!), Pat Benatar's version of "Helter Skelter", or Aerosmith's version of "I'm Down".

I think she should do a Beatle's song that is rocking but also melodic so it won't be too "screaming".  "Helter Skelter" would be too much more screaming than singing and would work against her. I think the rock version of "Revolution" would be perfect and she could still scream the "it's alright's" at the end.

I was hoping she would do Come Together but that's all gone now. Get Back might be good. I saw a vid where Europe and Bon Jovi did that song live and it was great.

I was going to say she should do the oh so obscure Kick Tracy version of Mrs Robinson.... but then I remembered that was a Simon and Garfunkle song not L/M.  Ooops!  Still a great, kind of, psycho strange version of the song her voice would do great justice to.  Just not on Beatles Song Night Redux.

Absolutely White Rabbit.  Funny thing that even my 60+ year old mother loves her and is dying to hear her do that song.
