I don't think Home is a Joshua type song.  I think he would have chosen something more suited to his big voice.

Please nobody pound me for this, but I think if Joshua had been in the finale, it may have been a better showdown.  IMO he had a better chance of beating Phillip.

i would've loved to see joshua in the finale!  he would've had my votes!   and yes i agree they probably would've chosen a song more customized for him instead of one similar to philip's..  i like it better when they hand pick the songs for specific contestants..  when they had kris and adam sing the same song, i was almost glad adam didn't win because that song wasn't a good fit for him and wouldn't have represented him well..  it wasn't the greatest song to begin with, but it did fit kris's style better..

I wanted Joshua in the final because I felt he deserved to be there.  You can beat me all you want cause I am a tough chick, but I think it would have been more of a showdown, as well.

It is possible (since we all predict the future that will never happen) that Joshua's fans dropped out as far as voting and, if Jessica had gone hom top 3, her fans may have voted for Joshua.  I think Phillip fans (myself included) may have voted for Joshua, as well.   It SEEMS both Jessica and Phillip fans believe Joshua should have been the one in the final with their favorite.

I think it would have been a better match up but I still think Phillip would have won. I said in an earlier topic that I really do think he had this season won weeks ago.. I also think Joshua deserved to be in the final but then I think they all did..

If Joshua had been in the finale, I'd probably have broken my rule and voted for him. I'm sure he'd have gotten some retro soul type of upbeat thing that showcased what he did best.
