Judges: Randy, Jennifer, Steven

Man I have never seen someone get sunk by the judges and AI producers like Haley was. Week after week Randy, J Lo and Iovine launched their torpedoes at her through unjust and unreasonable criticism (she sang that Lady Gaga song better than Gaga, and EVERYONE knows it). She battled through only to get killed when Iovine picked a momentum stopper with Rhiannon (sung better than Stevie Nicks STILL) and then U Oughta Know. Scotty and Lauren got absolute soft serve, and Haley gets a song that has four different paces, three octaves, and lyrics too dirty for most of America so she has to change some of them and remember she's doing that while she's singing them.

Then there's the reluctance on the part of two judges to get on their feet for her and her dad, J Lo not even getting out of her seat to say goodbye to Haley at the end of the show. Obviously Haley has attitude but I don't think it was terrible, and nowhere near what J Lo's is reputed to be. Everyone who let this happen at Idol should be ashamed of themselves; you say you're about finding something new and yet we just saw the last of the best acts on the best season EVER on this show get booted because the judge had a grudge. Shame.

I totally agree! I was just writing a thread talking about the very rudeness of the judging,the unfairness of song choice and how very bored and uninterested Jennifer has seemed these past 2 nights.Even for her 2 babies Lauren and Scotty she was cool and not overly into any part of it.The entire top three episode was really painful to watch because of the attitude from Jennifer and there just seemed to be no excitement what so ever for any of the 3 singing their tails off.

I was very touched by Haley and her Dad and yes it was again so rude to be treated like that was unimportant.

I too think this season has seen more talent than any before it and now for the finale wee get 2 country singers(I like Country) who will be pretty much the same we have seen all season. I havent decided yet if I will even watch but I do know I wont be voting anymore....

I am actually so disappointed by the treatment of Haley that I have lost any respect for the judging.I do enjoy Steven though.Jennifer needs to be called on HER body language etc.. what kind of example does she think she may be setting?  I think these kids worked way too hard to be treated badly and so rudely on national television no less. I was thrilled with the judges when the season started and now I can tell you that I hope Jennifer does not come back next year...Randy either for that matter...yes, shame on Idol...

Next year people will have to go to youtube to search for the finale to even remember who sang with Scotty and by that time Haley will be already into her very promising bright career!!!!  How very sad this season has ended...for me anyway...I didnt want a high school musical/talent show. I wanted an awesome finale full of flavor and variety and surprises!!! no chance of that now...

You're absolutely right about the judges. This looked like a whole new era for Idol at the beginning, but the last few weeks have seen shock after shock. The latest one being that J Lo was just acting for the first few months. I guess even triple threats can't keep that up; it's the music fans who paid the price this year. I actually feel kind of ripped off.

Every time I propose eliminating the eliminations, I get no response.  So it looks like most viewers are happy to see the best talent eliminated.  / / /

Not me!  I'd keep all performers till the last show, then use cummulaive votes to decide the winner.  Vote subtotals would be announced each week, so that viewers would have an opportunity to support favorites falling behind and correct voting aberations.  Since all performers would stay till the end, all would perform the same genres.  / / /

By the way, what happened to the genres?  In previous years, each week designated a different genre, and all songs for that week had to lie in that genre.  The winner had to be versatile.  / / /

This year, the winners get away with singing the same genre from start to finish.  Is America becoming narrower?  Apparently, Country and Rock are the only two kinds of music that matter, these days.  All other genres have disappeared, and soon, even Rock will go.  / / /

When Haley sang Haley, she was accused of not knowing which box to put herself in.

I agree with everything that you have stated, I am not going to watch anymore  unless JLO leaves the show.She is so rude and hateful..I was appauled at what they put Haley through...I  can handle  my fav not winning.However,I can't deal with the emotional stress Haley had to endure while on AI.Shame on all of you..Haley still performed very well!JLo we all know she did...Hope your happy you got your kids in it to win it,right Randy! yeehaw!

I like your idea alot.  Something needs to be done.  I personnaly think that AI was looking for a new Carrie Underwood.  This time a boy.  I think Scotty will win cause this show has been rigged.  They already made up there mind who they wanted to win.  95 million votes I dont believe that for a second.  Why do you think they got rid of all the talent especially at the end James was the biggest threat the frontrunner.  So they hung up his line anddidnt let Durbin fans fet throgh.  Then Haley was the seson biggest threat to there already declared winner so the got rid of her.  This year had the best talent but the most horrible results it maekes me was to vommit.  I dont know anyone who though Lauren deserved to e in the top 2.  And Ive done my research she isnt all tha popular, she holds back.  Man the top 3 sucked without James.  But this will be my God awfullllllllllllllll.  I would rather watch paint dry then see hese two perform.  I cant think of any scenario were Lauren gets in the top 2 over James, Haley, Pia,  Jacob, Casey, heck even Paul was a better performer.  I will never watch this show again.  I dont think the  votes are accurate.  I think they made it very very easy for Scotty to win.  Cause they want a Harry Underwood.  Thats just what I beliece.  They think Scottie can kmake money for them.  Its either that or America is full of tone deaf retards who like to watch boring crap.  I think Im right.  I just wish I could prove it!!

I do think they want the next country star.... Lauren would appeal to the Taylor Swift fans.... And Scotty could prove that WGWG can sell platinum and be a superstar. It's funny.... I have plans for next week Tuesday that I was going to cancel to watch the final performances but I'm really not interested in seeing these two enough to do that. I check out Wednesday to see all the ones I liked more this season.
