i have to tip my hat to maria too
that has alot to do with the fact that she's the one i feel like i am able to get to know better than the others.. i don't know if that is because we are in compatable time zones so i have more opportunity to interact with her, or because she is not afraid to get her hands dirty and take the time to post more frequently and get to know us all, but she does seem to be a constant and consistent "face" around here that i have come to recognize and am always happy to hear from her love her fairness, kindness, sense of humor, taste in shoes.... i don't think it insults the other mods to single her out in a good way, because i think the fact that she was promoted to "head honcho" is evidence that it is not just posters who notice that she goes above and beyond the call of duty to keep the peace and make us all feel welcome and acknowledged and "heard" on a side note, it's been rumored that there are a couple new mods, and i would love if they would introduce themselves and post in some threads so we can feel like we're getting to know them as well because i'm sure i'd have good things to say about any of them if i felt like i knew them better.. i very much appreciate the mods as a whole, because they do a good job of keeping this a friendly place

ZombieGirl, I completely agree. They do a fantastic job and all deserve a raise and a bonus plus a paid vacation, especially the ones who have been here the longest.
