Voting system needs to be fixed. I suggest a Seat in till American Idol does the right thing in James case. So if he is not on next week. i suggest everyone not to vote at all for anyone till they correct this mistake. If you could get just one of the many, many, many tweenies who vote 4,000 times for Scotty every week to stop voting you would be a miracle maker. Never happen, give it a rest.
I think it was pretty sneaky that the order of the contestants was reversed for their second song. If voters weren't paying really close attention they probably thought that the same numbers held from the first songs. I can't vote, but I think that there has been a grave injustice and a recount is in order.
Numbers were clearly on the screen many times all night and at the end. If one can't figure the number than maybe they should never be voting in the first place. Also the numbers always appear here on the person's thread you want to vote for.
There must be some mistake or America has no ears. I have watched and loved Anerican Idol since it started. Perhaps there needs to be a different way to vote like one vote per telephone number. If it is true that the phones were not working properly then Curtis needs to be brought back. If it is not true then I have no further interest in watching a show wwhere less talented people win. No Curtis no watch! I hope Nikki walks off too. The judges could have saved Curtis and did not. Shame on them.
The voting system has flaws, some are a result of depending completely on viewer votes. This allows manipulation of the results by groups determined to keep a sub par performer on the show. One possible solution to this is to determine the rankings by combining the current popular vote system with results from iTunes downloads. There is a significant chance that less talented contestants won't be as supported when money comes into play. Conversely, a great contestant is going to get iTune downloads. Just a suggestion...
I think this is crap that Angie got voted off there is no way possible that she got the least amount of votes. I will never ever ever watch this show again. Oh and bad choose on poking nicki as a judge.
