Season 11 General Discussion

If Idol really wants to be adventurous and start off the new season with a bang and some fun then they should bring in Psy and the outrageously hot Hyuna and get the judges and the entire audience to do the horseride dance Gangnam Style...beats WGWG snoozefest...could even get Psy to sing it as "Idol Style"...hey, just a thought...

I never said I didn't enjoy hip/hop. I stated in other threads that I didn't particularly like Nicki Minaj, but not the entire genre. I do like Psy and his K/Pop...I think this song is as fun as it gets...

Wow... that would actually be awesome. Especially if it was "Idol Style".
Or what if instead of doing that for the start of the season, the producers did that for the finale? That would be cool too...

Seriously, Hablan, one of the best ideas I've heard of so far.  And it just might happen cause he's already been on the Today Show one morning last week and is making the rounds.  He got those anchors moving and dancing and even Al, the weatherman.  REal cool.  Definitely think he would be one guest entertainers we wouldn't mind. 

Could just see it now.  These boards would go dead cause all of us would be up and copying his moves.  LOL

I find it amazing that a single guy could bring a smile to the faces of hundreds of millions of people around the world in just a few months, especially since he is singing this song in a language that is spoken primarily by just two countries on earth. The music transcends the language of course, but I don't think you could ever find a song sung, in non-english especially, with this much appeal to such a diverse spectrum. The various video incarnations of this song have been viewed over a billion times...quite astounding...

It really is amazing! Gangnam Style is just such a fun and catchy song.
