We BlueJays have been hearing quite a few of those kind of comments, Jessica is "so technically trained" (I would like to know, someday, how she's more trained than the other contestants who are older than her, and like Elise being a music teacher), "she's got no gut or personality in her performances", "robotic", etc. But we hear you, and like you said, to each his/her own taste, and we respect that. Well, there are few rumors Jessica will be performing a couple of rockin' songs tomorrrow night. It may not still be country for your taste but we hope you folks can enjoy it. All my comments are related to my own feelings. I'm not stating them as fact. It's the feeling I get when I watch the show and see both of them. Those feelings are what makes me lean toward Skylar's performances rather than Jessica's.
I understand perfectly, and I never said you were proclaiming them as facts. Your feelings are based on your personal tastes and preferences, and we all know not everyone will agree with mine or yours. Hence, we should all just accept and respect that, and try to get as much enjoyment and satisfaction from all the contestants' performances. Cheers!
