The show has definitely had its shocking moments and controversy across the seasons, and I am sure there will be more to come. As a two part question, can I ask what is the most controversial issue or shocking moment from the past that sticks in your mind, and what do you think could happen this year to match it? Is it the elimination of Chris Daughtry or Tamyra Gray perhaps that really shocked you, the continued success of Sanjaya despite a slight lack of talent in the vocal dept! or is there a particular moment that had your eyes open in dis belief?
As for this season, what do you think might happen that could match your most shocking memories from the past? Is Randy actually going to come out wearing a shirt that befits a man of his age, will Steve Tyler announce intentions to join the priest hood, or will Jessica be eliminated before the semi finals?
As for my own opinion, the most shocking moment from the past that I easily remember; is the elimination of Latoya London whilst Jasmine Trias remained. Jasmine was a beautiful and pleasant enough contestant, but vocally was very weak as far as I'm concerned. However, Latoya had been a consistently good performer (one of the best not to have made it to the final) As for this season, an unforgettable and controversial incident has already happened, with Steve's comment to Shannon's father "hot, humid and happening - just like your daughter". I would though, be even more shocked if Jessica went before the semi final.
