Did anyone see Carrie Underwood or Kelly Clarkson, or Scotty McCreery on the CMA's last night? I felt like a proud momma I always do regardless of who the Idol contestant is. Finalist or not...

I saw Carrie's and Kelly's performances.  They're pros and of coursed rocked the house.  And I'm sure everyone knows by now that I've got a thing for Carrie Underwood, but last night it really struck me how beautiful Kelly Clarkson is and how great it is that she is still in the spotlight.  Her image is so vibrant and healthy and she's someone I hope many young women look up to.

Always a proud moment when I see our Idols doing so well. Carrie and Kelly were incredible and proved not only are they two of Idol's best talent, but two of the best talents in the industry. Also still relevant after years in the music scene.

These kinds of shows just makes me so proud that I am an American Idol Fan and can say......"I remember when..."

It's so awesome to see American Idol alumni becoming so successful!

There has been such great talent coming from American Idol.  I have said this before, but I see Carrie inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, and possibly Kelly going into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  Kelly needs to do something totally out of character which make a huge impact on the world of music.  Both have fantastic voices and seem like really nice women.

What a treat it would be if they toured together!!!

I think the fact that Kelly Clarkson is still relevant and strong in the music field is quite a testament to her talent, and to AI and the voters for recognizing that talent right off the hop...

What do you mean by saying......"Kelly needs to do something totally out of character which make a huge impact..."?

    The impact Kelly is still making is churning out hit after hit after hit.  Artists that have many, many hits eventually do make it into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. 

     Your "out of character" confuses me.

Watching both Carrie and Kelly claim the top 2 performances for that night was great. I'm extremely proud of them.
