Greetings ALL! And for the final time this season - I say.....CONGRATS to everyone! I was unable to even get to see the show - performance or finale ..until very late last night.
In short - Phillip was Phillip when performing - I think his single is a better single than Jessica's - but Jessica sang the heck out of every song she was given. Period.
IF this was soley based on just the incredible talent level of both people - well....then I do wish the world would have seen Jessica singing with Jennifer Holiday before they voted...I was on my freaking FEET - CRYING - CLAPPING - SCREAMING at how AWESOME that was! If a little tiny 16 year old girl can garner the respect to sing with a QUEEN of song like Ms. Holiday....then I think it is written in the stars - Jessica is born for something great!
Phillip - CONGRATS! I hope your surgery is successful, and you feel better soon - I know that music and song will heal you as you travel down this road - so hold your music close! it will comfort you! And enjoy the ride :0)
Jessica - CONGRATS - you are a voice of a generation - never forget that! See the paths taken by those before you and make the choices that will keep your head above water and always keep you smiling!
