Amber Holcomb could get put off tomorrow, and still go on to be a super star at the level that Whitney Houston w as or higher. She is already that good. This girl is incredible! And, like I've said before, Whitney is going to have to be replaced, because her death has left a huge hole in the music industry. And, I personally believe that Amber Holcomb will be that replacement in her own right of coarse. However, Amber Holcomb is going to soar regardless of how well she does or does not do on American Idol. She's that rare singer that comes along once in awhile, and catches the attention of everyone. She's just gonna soar!
Burnell Taylor-WOW! This guy's voice is an original, and kinda new in style. I love it. This year American Idol has a lot of very good talent on it, and it is more racially flavored too, which makes it that more enjoyable to watch, rather than just watching predominately one race and maybe one minority perform. I'm glad that Idol mixed it up this year. Burnell Taylor is another singing talent that is going to go far (don't stay in Nola, branch out.) He's going to go further than John Legend, so he needs to experiment with his talent, and don't just go for John Legend all the time. However, he's very good and will go far regardless if he wins Idol or not. And, I love the way he dresses, too.
Curtis Finch, Jr. is another Idol who can sang (not sing, but sang) this dude can make gospel music evolve into a new kinda style, and take it to another level too. I love his voice, and look forward to hearing him sang every week. Finch is incredible.
I'm a fan of all three of these Idols, but I'm going to be watching Amber Holcomb, and looking for her first album. However, good luck to all of these contestants.

Burnell is definitely my favorite this season!! I hope he wins. I fully agree with your opinion of him giving that John Legend vibe vocally. John Legend is my favorite male singer right now which is why I think I'm rooting for Burnell all the way, but I don't want him to be fully compared to him if he wins the show. I do see that happening unfortunately though.
I am an Amber fan also, but I don't know how far she will make it. I see top 10, but she may make it maybe to like the top 7 or 8 at best unfortunately.
Ummm... About Curtis.... Yeah he's a great singer, but tonight I didn't like his performance. Yes, it was gospel and he did his thing, but some of those notes...

But, dude, gospel needs new recruits, too. And, Curtis got it going on in that category, and don't think he can't make bank doing gospel, because it's filled with millies (millionares). I'm glad to see all three of these people make the top ten, and this years show is going to be good, because everyone picked is good.

Dude, it's Curtis' notes that make him. I love this guy, and he can sang, too. And, regardless of what genre he goes into, he's going to be a future millie. Amber Holcomb is my favorite, but I think you are right about her. I don't see her being the next American Idol, because a lot of these top ten contestants have been holding back-Candice is a perfect example. Candice can sang, but during the last competitions, she was holding back, and acting all timid, but after she found out she was one of the top ten, homegirl went out on that stage and sang Mary J. Blige's song right, hitting the right notes like she was making mad love. I was like, where the f--- did that come from, girl been holding back! Candice is going to give Amber a run for her money.
But, it doesn't matter if Amber doesn't win or not, because she's going to get signed to a record contract as soon as she either gets put off the show, or wins the competition-they all are. But, Amber really doesn't need this competition anyway, because she already has the full package. I don't know why her mama didn't just take her to a record producer. Once they heard her sang (not sing), she would have been signed to that label, and been a millie before the year was even out. So, I guess her mama wanted all of us to enjoy her for awhile first. But, babygirl is the next Whitney Houston in her own right, so, if she gets put off next week, I'm not even going to be upset, because I got to see a future Queen Diva make her debut. And, I still can't wait for her first album to come out.
I want to hear Candice blow a few tunes again like she did with Mary J. Blige's song. This girl needs to come out of her shell and stay out, because she gave me chill bumps tonight, too.
