I certainly think that for live concert enjoyment, Casey would be one of the few I'd really enjoy, mostly for the guitar jams.
Me too, Syb. I wish all of them long, successful careers, but I can see Casey going quite far if he does the right material.

years ago i saw smokey robinson in concert. about 200 people showed up. that was it. it was one of the BEST concerts ive ever seen. he even started taking requests on napkins...it was hysterical and he was AWESOME! im sure most of you wont even remember a guy named corey hart, but i saw him as well, maybe 100 people max. he was FAB! (i know, believe it or not...haha). and about a year ago, i saw gavin degraw (third time ive seen him) in knoxville...the auditorium wasnt even half full. he was absolutely outstanding (he always is) and is a sweetheart to his fans. i highly doubt that lee and crystal are acting lethargic or whatever. i really honestly have never seen a guy act sooooooo appreciative in all my life.

I believe this. Lee and Crystal both come across as very authentic people - with nothing but the utmost sincerity when they say they are thankful & appreciative.

I think ANY of us could write a review of the concert after we go. Whether its' positive or negative, or favors any one Idol is going to depend on the frame of mind of the individual going and writing. Being a Lee fan, do you think my review would be negative toward him? Someone who writes a review is just stating an opinion, like any of us do in converstation. It doesn't mean any more or less than one of our opinions.

You are not a reporter and you would be hard pressed to find fault with Lee, and your review would be biased in favor of him. That's understandable. I'm sure if I saw the show, I'd be giving praise to Crystal. The problem lies when posters feel the need to once again trash other contestants. I have a lot of respect for the posters that can actually say something nice about the other Idols that are not their favorites. As far as the reviews that have been written, good or bad, we don't know the bias of the reporter, in spite of the fact that they are suppose to be trained to be neutral about the stories they write. It's possible they are subjective to some degree, as well. So, I take the reviews with a grain of salt, delighting in the ones that are positive for my favorite, but not reveling in the ones that are negative for the other contestants. I want them all to do well. They've worked very hard to put on a good show and to showcase their talent in order to further their careers after the tour is over.
As far as posters who have seen the show and are giving us their opinions, I take those with the same grain of salt, too. They are just stating their opinion and most likely they aren't going to say anything bad about their favorite, either. Unfortunately, some posters will trash other contestants just to promote their own favorite. It's just more of the same old, same old that went on all during the competition. I take that with a grain of salt too!

I went to the CT show the other night with one of my nanny kids (she is 11).
11 year old favorite during the show were Katie and Crystal.
She left still with those favorites but also liked Aaron and Lee.
Mike was the one who surprised me in a good way. He made me a fan of his.
Katie and Aaron imo were 2 of the best performers.
Crystal was exactly who you saw on the show. She was so awesome.
Lee I liked during the show. Loved him after the tour. He had lots of confidence and energy in his set.

Loved your post Tri, instead of centering on one certain Idol, you spread the good for most of them and that's what is needed the most, one of them won't make the idol tour great or ruin it for that matter, the tour needs all 10 of them.. Great post.
I protest...because she didn't mention Didi Benami, my season 9 favorite.

If I hadn't watched the show this season and just based my opinion from reading all of the reviews I've read, I would think that Siobhan, Aaron, and Casey were the headliners. The three of them seem to be getting consistently good/great reviews.
